New York again

Dan just got back from Montreal, so there will be some new pics up shortly. In the meantime, here are some more boring New York pics.

Good News/Bad News

Good News: You can expect to see some new travel pics up soon.

Bad News: They won't be mine =(

Dan's consulting biz is taking off, and he has upcoming trips scheduled to London and Barcelona, not to mention a few more local spots, and, oh yeah Hong Kong! I'm hoping by November I can grow a pair and have enough nerve to join him on that last one.

In the meantime, here's some drunken pics from a NYC cab ride.

Home from the City

Dan and I went in to see a Mets game today. It was a fantastic day, and this is what came out of playing with the camera on the bus ride home.

Shoretown

Well, since I haven't been anywhere photo-worthy lately, I'm stealing some of hubby's pics.

Taken in Keansburg, NJ, and in support of his novel, I give you Shoretown.

So, what is Shoretown?

We watch as our hero visits his hometown, a seedy, rundown square mile on the Jersey Shore. He hopes this visit will be his last. As he embarks on his swan song at the town’s oldest bar he encounters familiar faces of his past, each one of them with a unique story about their lives and the town, some absurd, some tragic, some detestable. Craig's night of dark revelation reaches its climax with a sudden and brutal act of violence, but it concludes with what could be a faint glimmer of hope and redemption.
